Fit4Less Host - Ottawa River Road

Performs and completes cleanliness tasks and customer service duties to maintain a friendly, clean, and safe environment for members, associates, and prospective members.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and tidies to the cleanliness standards and expectations as outlined in cleaning and inspection guidelines.
• Provides friendly customer interaction while completing cleanliness tasks on the workout floor.
• Contributes to the "everybody cleans" mindset.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly cleanliness tasks, communications, and training to meet standard expectations.
• Informs and reports deficiencies using standard guideline expectations to engage appropriate actions and resolutions.
• Welcomes everybody warmly in the club with greetings like "hi," "bye," and "thank you."
• Helps and educates members and guests with memberships, amenities, automation, and processes.
• Promotes black card amenities and memberships.
• Contributes to a courteous and friendly workplace environment to meet Fit4Less’ brand expectations.
• Completes tasks and responsibilities by set timelines.
• Informs and works with the manager for progress relating to customer service and escalation support.
• Addresses, informs, and reports incidents of concern using standard process expectations.
• Sells and suggests memberships and provides assistance for membership management.
• Assists and provides appropriate access to and within the club to educate on automated and virtual options.

Requirements

• High School diploma or working toward completion.
• 1 year of teamwork and/or volunteer experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• WHMIS certification.
• First Aid, CPR-A, and AED certification.
• Ability to put effort into activities and remain calm under pressure.
• Dedication to meeting the expectations and requirements of both internal and external customers.
• Effective and efficient time management skills.

Pay

The selected candidate will be paid minimum wage, with an expected annual total compensation of $14,200 based on scheduled hours per year.
