About the role
The QC Inspector will be responsible for performing and documenting inspections supporting our fabrication shop.
Responsibilities
- Perform various quality inspections i.e. Dimensional, Visual, Fit-up, etc…
- Verify methods and materials follow project requirements.
- Verify welding procedures and welder qualifications during fabrication
- Coordinate with internal customers
- Perform receiving inspection of equipment and material
Requirements
2-year technical certification in Welding or engineering technology. Equivalent related work experience acceptable.
Skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to be organized
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Display diplomacy and tact in collaborating with a wide variety of colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word)
