About the role

Part time, event based position in partnership with Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee Bucks, and Marquette Eagles. Union position with competitive wages and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Complete steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Understand and describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
• Establish rapport with guests and members
• Effectively use suggestive and upselling techniques
• Always exceed guest expectations
• Adhere to location appearance guidelines
• Act with a sense of urgency and provide friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
• Deliver properly prepared beverages in a timely manner
• Respond to guest needs and requests
• Maintain service areas
• Follow cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
• Accurately use POS system
• Employ good safety and sanitation practices
• Follow responsible alcohol service policies
• Practice proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
• Follow Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications
• Thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Communicate guest issues to management
• Adhere to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
• Display a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
• Help fellow team members whenever necessary
• Always be on time and ready to perform all required duties

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience bartending in a high-volume capacity preferred
• Lift and transport up to 100 lbs
• Frequently reach, lift, stoop, bend and clean to maintain service area
• Walk and stand during entire shift
• English reading, writing, and math skills required
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
• Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of bartending experience in upscale and high-volume environment
• Knowledge of cocktails and other specialty drinks, pouring liquor
• Accurately use the POS system to ring in drinks
• Able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds
• Possesses Class D Operator's license
• Must be ServSafe certified
• Practices RAS and abides by all Levy, Bucks, City, and state alcohol service regulations

Pay

$23.00/hour, union position.
