About the role
The Opportunity: As the Fiscal Technician 3, you will perform a variety of complex and technical fiscal processes with minimal oversight. You will exercise independent judgment in interpreting and applying fiscal procedures and guidelines as well as ensuring compliance with federal, state, and university policies and procedures. You understand the variety of funding sources for the College of Medicine, state accounts, grants, and unrestricted funds. You will provide excellent customer service, often during periods of heavy workload and tight deadlines. In this position, you may be responsible and accountable for any of the following fiscal duties: Procurement of goods and services, Accounts payable, Contract assistance, Financial analysis. This position is located on the WSU Spokane campus in Spokane, WA, and may be eligible for a hybrid or remote work arrangement, to be discussed if selected for an interview.
