Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain individual's trust accounts, reviewing source of funds monthly and submitting spend down requests when necessary.
  • Reconcile and manage TCB and SOF Loans monthly, ensuring timely repayment and accuracy of checks.
  • Submit Rep Payee reports to Social Security and handle Social Security paperwork and Medi-Cal New Applications and Redeterminations.
  • Assist case management with forms for new applications and redeterminations, and reconcile trust accounts for inactive, transferred, or deceased individuals.
  • Handle emergency funding requests and respond professionally to inquiries from providers and service coordinators.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and consumer funding sources, filing documents accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, plus 4 years related Accounting experience and/or training.
  • Knowledge of Social Security and Medi-Cal processes.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

  • Moderate noise levels.
  • Regular sitting, standing, walking, reaching, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
