Vance Thompson Vision has expanded to the Kansas City Market and we are seeking a First Impressions – Atrium Concierge to join our team. Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding patient needs.
- Handle difficult or escalated patient concerns and provide positive solutions.
- Participate in the patient-informed consent process.
- Ensure the atrium area is clean and visually appealing to patients, and that food items are fully stocked and available at all times.
- Collect and enter patient’s insurance information into the database.
- Verify patient insurance information and demographics.
- Collect payments for drops, surgeries, and/or account balances.
- Exceed patient expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience is helpful.
