About the role

Vance Thompson Vision has expanded to the Kansas City Market and we are seeking a First Impressions – Atrium Concierge to join our team. Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients in a prompt, pleasant, and helpful manner.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding patient needs.
• Handle difficult or escalated patient concerns and provide positive solutions.
• Participate in the patient-informed consent process.
• Ensure the atrium area is clean and visually appealing to patients, and that food items are fully stocked and available at all times.
• Collect and enter patient’s insurance information into the database.
• Verify patient insurance information and demographics.
• Collect payments for drops, surgeries, and/or account balances.
• Exceed patient expectations through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous customer service experience is helpful.
