About the role

Firm membership on Surveyors UK provides a suite of tools and services designed to connect, promote, and support surveying firms across the UK. It is an independent platform not tied to any single professional body, allowing firms to display their regulatory affiliations for client transparency.

Key Features

• Referral Network: A first-of-its-kind network where firms can pass on work they cannot take, with no commission or fees. Available to all firm members at every tier.
• Public Profile: Every firm receives a search-optimized profile visible to Google and AI tools like ChatGPT and Gemini. Firms manage their own profiles, including updates, contact details, and team information.
• Job Board: A dedicated job board for the surveying profession, with featured employer content available at certain membership tiers to help firms attract talent.
• Succession UK: A platform for buying, selling, and merging practices, launching in autumn 2026. Listings are anonymous until both parties agree to connect. Surveyors UK facilitates introductions but does not broker deals or provide valuation advice.
• Community & Publishing: Access to The Surveying Room community, with opportunities for firms at certain tiers to publish articles, news, and events directly to the profession.

Membership Tiers

• Founding Tier: £35 plus VAT per month, available for a limited first cohort of firms. Includes access to the referral network, public profile, and community features.
• Higher Tiers: Designed for firms seeking additional capabilities (not based on firm size), available for firms with up to 50 employees. Bespoke arrangements are available for larger organizations, panels, and national employers.

Who It’s For

Surveyors UK is open to firms regulated by any professional body (e.g., RICS, CABE, CIOB, TSA) or none. Firms can display their regulatory affiliations on their profiles, allowing clients to make informed decisions. The platform is independent of professional bodies and software vendors, reflecting the breadth of the surveying profession.
