About the role
GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring an Industrial Firefighter. The ideal candidate should possess a keen sense of observation, physical stamina, and relevant certifications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain physical fitness and readiness for emergency situations
- Patrol various environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
- Respond to fire alarms and other emergencies
- Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance
- Handle hazardous materials and perform operations as required
Requirements
- Over the age of 21
- Valid Driver License and clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Firefighter Certification NFPA 1001-1-11 IFSAC OR Pro Board excepted Certification
- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification or higher
- Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations NFPA 472 IFSAC or Pro Board Certification
Qualifications
- Able to work in the U.S.
- Able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- Able to pass an extensive screening process
- First aid certification is an asset
- Standing and walking for the entire shift is required
Skills
Physical stamina, keen observational skills, and the ability to handle hazardous materials are crucial.
