Firefighter

About the role
As a Firefighter – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, and detention centers.
Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor assigned environments to anticipate and mitigate risks
- Respond to emergencies with tactical and physical readiness
- Perform firefighting duties in industrial settings
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 21
- Valid Driver License with a clean Motor Vehicle Report
- Firefighter Certification NFPA 1001-1-11 (IFSAC or Pro Board accepted)
- Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification or higher
- Hazardous Material Awareness and Operations NFPA 472 (IFSAC or Pro Board Certification)
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to pass an extensive screening process, including background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
First aid certification is an asset. Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is a plus.
Schedule
Set schedule: On 24 / off 48. 7am - 7pm. Must have open availability to fill in to cover for call-offs.
Pay
Competitive hourly wage of $17.49. DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees.
