About the role

Responsibilities
- Assessing damaged properties to see what can be saved
- Cleaning and storing damaged contents until they can be returned to the home
- Removing and replacing damaged materials, such as wallboards, lumber, and carpets
- Handling any issues caused by fire or water damage, including drying out the area and removing mold
- Sanitizing structural features that can be saved
- Communicating in-person with homeowners, explaining job specifications, and performing other customer service duties
- Adhering to personal safety standards by wearing the appropriate protective gear and using the right equipment
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
- Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem solving and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Lifting, squatting, crawling and crouching is required
- Respirators, which are used in certain situations, must be able to seal to your face
- Ability to work Inside and Outside, such as with or without air conditioning and heating

Pay
Salary depends on experience. Salary range listed is for entry-level applicants.
Schedule
A typical work-week is eight (8) hour workdays, five (5) days per week with some weekend and on-call work as needed.
