Fire Technician

Responsibilities

• Respond to approximately 3 service tickets per day within a 2-hour radius of the Miramar office
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain fire alarm systems
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm equipment
• Ensure compliance with all applicable fire and life safety codes and regulations
• Document service activities, repairs, and recommendations accurately
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service
• Cookordination with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of service requests

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with fire alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of fire alarm installation, troubleshooting, programming, and service
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to work independently and manage daily service calls effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with security systems, including: Access Control, CCTV/Camera Systems, Notifier fire alarm system experience, NICET Certification (Level I, II, III, or higher)
• Knowledge of applicable NFPA codes and industry standards

Pay

$33 per hour
