Fire Suppression Route Services Technician

About the role

Your Typical Day:

• Inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lights.
• Inspect, repair, and exchange fire extinguishers on site and transport, as needed.
• Inspect, repair, and replace emergency lighting.
• Educate customers and sell products needed to code compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service while proudly representing NELBUD.

Responsibilities

• Ability to answer promptly to service calls.
• Ability to access and tolerate small spaces and work in high places.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in fire suppression (strongly preferred).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license – company truck provided from shop to job site.
• You must be at least 20 years old.
• A minimum of 3 years of driving experience is required.

Skills

• Customer service skills.
• Technical knowledge of fire suppression systems.
