Fire Suppression Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform service and repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Hood Systems & Suppression Gas Systems in addition to other related building system products at customer sites.
• Service, troubleshoot and install many different manufacturers including Simplex and ANSUL.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
• Manage daily service calls, customer activity and program system products.
• Work with clean agent systems, dry chemical systems, and special hazards.
• Assist customers with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for Emergency Service.
• Perform inspections of Suppression Gas Systems based on contract requirements.
• Inspect customer systems.
• Use of Smart Phone and Equipment.
• May include government work.

Requirements

4+ years of experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, outstanding customer-facing service and problem-solving skills, PC skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Preferred: Any manufacturer certifications is a plus; ANSUL, Kiddie PyroChem Local and State license if required.
