Responsibilities

  • Receive service calls from the Service Resource Center, including descriptions of equipment/system malfunctions.
  • Contact customer representatives to determine equipment/system issues.
  • Perform service and repairs on sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pump systems.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of documented experience in the Fire Sprinkler industry, performing service and repair to sprinkler and suppression systems.
  • Computer/phone skills - proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and mobile apps/functions.
  • Ability to work independently and perform service work on all water-based fire protection systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely responses to customer needs.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
  • Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment up to 60 feet.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and driving record meeting company requirements.
  • Follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must adhere to safety requirements of both the company and the customer.

Qualifications

  • NICET certification preferred.
  • Backflow certification preferred.
  • Fire pump experience preferred.

Skills

  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operational product manuals.
  • Strong organizational skills and positive attitude.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Work independently and troubleshoot equipment.

Pay

Hiring hourly range: $28.70 - 39.47 per hour. Rate determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.

Schedule

This role includes a competitive benefits package and may require an on-call rotation.
