About the role
Division 9 | Hickory, NC Solve Problems. Keep Systems Running. Protect What Matters. Century Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair fire sprinkler systems. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and keeping critical fire protection systems operating properly.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair wet and dry fire sprinkler systems, including pipe, fittings, valves, and sprinkler heads.
- Service and repair OS&Y valves, including installation of repacking kits.
- Work with metal, PVC, and CPVC piping.
- Service and repair air compressors and associated controls.
- Service and repair fire pumps and associated controls.
- Secure piping to structures using clamps, brackets, and hangers.
- Test piping systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment and monitoring gauges.
- Follow all company and job site safety procedures.
- Respond to emergency service and repair calls outside normal business hours.
- Regularly work extended hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
