Fire Sprinkler Repair Technician

About the Role

Ensures customers are serviced to the highest level of satisfaction through quality service and met expectations prior to leaving the jobsite. Conducts installation, modifications, and repairs of fire sprinkler systems with a focus on new installations, tenant improvements, and office space build-outs. Identifies code violations and recommends solutions while adhering to CAL OSHA and safety measures.

Responsibilities

• Installation of new sprinkler systems, with an understanding of plan symbols and construction terminology
• Perform ladder work and scissor lifting
• Interact professionally with customers, building engineers, property managers, and team members
• Use and maintain a company-provided service vehicle, keeping it clean, organized, and stocked with tools and supplies
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to convey information clearly at all levels of the organization
• Identify continuous improvement solutions to promote efficiency
• Adhere to all company employment policies and safe practices, specifically CAL OSHA and safety measures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 years of experience (open to train)
• Knowledge of NFPA 13, 25, and CA Fire Code
• Valid Cal Fire Fitter Certification preferred; candidates without certification will be considered if able and willing to obtain it

Pay

Compensation: DOE based on experience and qualifications

Schedule

• Full-time, on-site
• Monday - Friday
• 40 hours a week
