What You’ll Do
- Perform inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of water-based and sprinkler systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes.
- Test systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
- Identify deficiencies and complete detailed service documentation.
- Cookordination inspection deficiencies with the service needed to correct them.
- Communicate with the Service Manager and Inspections Coordinator regarding job status, delays, and requirements.
- Help ensure customers receive work according to the proposed scope.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 2–3 years of experience inspecting various fire sprinkler systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation.
- NICET II or III certification preferred.
- Backflow certification preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Clean MVR required.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.
