Responsibilities
- Reviewing construction contract documents and coordinating with subcontractors and General Contractors/Owners to gather the required information to design project sprinkler systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable NFPA standards, local and national building codes, and the scope of the work based on the project documents and specifications.
Skills
- 2+ years of experience in fire sprinkler design
- Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems, fire protection regulatory standards, and state and local codes
- Technical understanding and knowledge of automatic sprinkler systems and components
- NICET certification preferred
- Proficiency in AutoSprink preferred
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Ability to perform work in an efficient and organized matter and maintain thorough records
- Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively, and work collaboratively among our team
- Ability to professionally communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service
