Fire Sprinkler Designer - National

About the role

This is a great opportunity to showcase your design skills while playing a key role in various fire protection system projects. As a Designer, you will exercise your attention to detail while designing automatic sprinkler systems using AutoSPRINK and other design software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute projects in conjunction with a Project Manager
• Conduct on-site field surveys
• Generate hydraulic calculations
• Submit drawings to obtain required building permits
• Perform 3D model coordination
• Prepare bill of materials for fabrication
• Ensure projects adhere to the proposed timeline
• Prepare project close-out, operation, and maintenance documents

Requirements

• Construction knowledge/experience, design/drafting experience, or a construction-related degree
• Proficiency in CAD software
• Mathematical and technical aptitude to learn industry-specific software and codes
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge
• Strong attention to detail

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have prior experience designing fire protection systems and hold a NICET certification.
