Fire Sprinkler Designer

About the Role: Diamondback Fire Protection LLC is looking for an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our growing team. If you have 3+ years of experience in fire protection design and hold a NICET Level 2 or higher certification (preferred), we want to hear from you. This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel requirements to meet project needs. Key Responsibilities: Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects using AutoSPRINK or similar design softwarePerform hydraulic calculations in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standardsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely drawing submittalsPrepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and design documentation for AHJ (Authority Having Jurisdiction) approvalEnsure all designs comply with local codes, NFPA standards, and client specificationsRevise and update drawings based on field conditions, change orders, or inspector feedbackProvide technical support during the installation process Qualifications: Proficient with design software (e.g. AutoSprink, AutoCAD, and Revit)Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codesStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyMinimum NICET Level 2 certification (preferred) Benefits: Competitive salaryFlexible remote work optionsPaid Time OffSafe Harbor ContributionProfit Sharing OpportunitiesOffice AllowancePaid Holidays About Us: Diamondback Fire Protection LLC is an established fire protection design and engineering firm serving the country with a commitment to quality and life safety excellence.
