Fire & Security Technician

About the Role

A Fire & Security Technician skilled in programming, calibrating, inspecting, testing, and maintaining access control systems, CCTV, burglar alarms, and fire alarm installations within commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Configure, program, and check out security installations.
• Interpret access control and fire alarm wiring diagrams and follow best practices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Access Control, CCTV, Burglar Alarm, and Fire Alarm systems.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience with AccessXpert, Pelco, Axis, VideoXpert, Security Expert, DMP, Notifier, or Andover Continuum systems.
• Strong Ethernet networking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Basic low voltage electrical testing skills.
• FASA/BASA Certification.
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to travel extensively.
