Job Summary
We are seeking professional, dependable, state-licensed Fire Protection Systems Inspectors to conduct inspections on a variety of fire suppression and safety systems.

Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, and/or maintain fire suppression equipment.
- Conduct functionality tests to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on malfunctioning equipment.
- Coordinate with the Service Department for follow-up work.
- Maintain clear, accurate records of inspection results and documentation.
- Provide clear and concise updates to customers regarding inspection findings and system status.
- Collaborate with Area Coordinators and office staff to schedule and update inspection status.
- Aid in emergencies and other urgent customer requests.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
- State Licensing: Must be appropriately licensed in the state of operation to inspect the listed fire protection systems (required).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of post-high school education or technical training preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience with fire protection systems (hydrants, sprinklers, backflow, standpipe, extinguishers, etc.) highly desired. A construction, plumbing, or mechanical background is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Ability to operate electronic devices for documentation and reporting. Comfortable with referencing NFPA codes and relevant local/state regulations.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients, office staff, and local authorities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders (up to 8 ft.). Must be able to stand, kneel, or crouch for extended periods as needed.
- Schedule: Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., with flexibility to handle varied tasks and meet deadlines.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for travel throughout the territory.
