Fire Protection Sprinkler Fitter

Main Duties

• Lead assigned projects and apprentice team members to ensure that all deadlines are met with regard to installation, service, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for customers.
• Lay out and install fire protection systems.
• Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
• Modify current sprinkler systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Sprinkler Fitter.
• Prior experience managing construction projects.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Track record of success completing projects on schedule.
• Preferred: Foreman/Journeyman Level - through National local 669.
• Lifting 50+ lbs.
• Work on ladders and elevated surfaces.
• Work in small spaces.
• Work in a fast-paced, construction environment.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to travel.
