About the role

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing fire protection sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings. Works closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure compliance with local building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair fire protection sprinkler systems
• Ensure adherence to local building codes and safety standards
• Work with architects, engineers, and construction teams to design and implement fire protection solutions
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on existing systems
• Respond to emergency situations as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in fire protection or related field
• Knowledge of local building codes and safety standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in fire protection or related field
• First responder certification preferred

Skills

• Proficient in using hand tools and power equipment
• Knowledge of fire suppression systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

$50,000 - $60,000 annually
