Qualifications / Education / Experience

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Three (3) years or more experience in installation, repair of wet pipe alarm valves, dry pipe alarm valves, pre-action and deluge systems.
  • Familiarity with aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) systems.
  • Knowledgeable of NFPA-13 manuals for fire protection systems.
  • Ability to operate alarm control panels, fire pumps, and controllers.
  • Assistance in duties related to fire protection.
  • Able to work at various heights from mechanical lifting devices.
  • Wears hard-toed safety shoes meeting ASTM F2413-05 standards.

Safety & Equipment Benefits

  • Safety Shoes: $175 annual allowance.
  • Prescription Safety Glasses: Up to $250 annually (per policy).

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay Premiums & Compensation:
    • Shift Differential: Extra $1.75–$2.00/hour depending on shift start time.
    • Hazard Pay: $3.00/hour for designated high-risk work areas.
    • Lead Pay: Additional $2.25/hour for lead roles (temporary or permanent).
    • On-Call Pay: Two hours of overtime pay per day when on call during off-days/holidays.
