Fire Protection Service Tech Lead - LSS
for section headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Only include sections if posting has real specific content. We need to parse the job description.
We have:
- "Why Join Our Team?" paragraph: that's about company culture. Could be "About the role"? Actually "About the role" is typical heading for role description. The "Why Join Our Team?" is more about company. Could be considered "About the role"? Might be better to put under "About the role" heading.
- Benefits: there is a Benefits section with details. So include Benefits heading.
- Position Summary: description of role. Could be "About the role" or "Responsibilities"? Actually Position Summary is a brief description; we could put under "About the role". Then "Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities" is responsibilities. So we can have Responsibilities heading.
- Job Qualifications: list of qualifications. Could be Requirements or Qualifications. We'll have Qualifications heading.
- Skills: maybe we can extract skills from qualifications: "Advance communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills", "Mechanically inclined", "Proficient with hand tools", etc. Could be Skills heading.
- Pay: Not mentioned. No pay info. So we should NOT include Pay section.
- Schedule: Not mentioned. No schedule info. So omit.
- Also there is "Work Environment & Physical Demands". Could be part of Responsibilities or maybe a separate section? Not in allowed headings list. Could fold into Responsibilities or maybe under "About the role"? Probably include under Responsibilities as it's about work environment.
We must not repeat job title as heading. No Job ID etc.
We must preserve all substantive information, not invent or summarize away detail. Must not include boilerplate like EEO, etc. Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So we need to strip out the "Stay up to date with Vallen, and follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter." and "Equal Opportunity Employer - Ethnically and Culturally Diverse/Females/Veterans/Disabled/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity". Also "We accept applications on an ongoing basis" maybe considered application instruction? It's not exactly instruction to apply but could be considered boilerplate. Probably remove.
Also "Vallen complies with all minimum wage laws" maybe not needed but it's substantive? It's a statement about compliance; could be kept? It's not a benefit or requirement. Might be considered boilerplate but it's a policy statement. Safer to remove as it's not specific to role.
We need to keep all substantive info: Benefits details, responsibilities, qualifications, etc.
Let's extract sections:
About the role: Could combine "Why Join Our Team?" and "Position Summary". Provide prose.
Responsibilities: Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities list (bullet points). Also maybe include Work Environment & Physical Demands as part of responsibilities.
Qualifications: Job Qualifications list (including education, certifications, experience, etc.)
Skills: Could extract from qualifications: "Advance communication, initiative, and problem-solving skills", "Mechanically inclined", "Proficient with hand tools", "Able to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment in a timely and accurate manner", "Able to provide assistance, advise and training to Vallen associates and plant personnel", "Assist warehouse personnel with order fulfillment if needed.", "Keep all certifications and licenses current and renewed by completing continuing education as required.", "Must pass Drug & Alcohol screen, Physical exam, and background check." Some of those are more requirements than skills. But we can still list skills.
Better to follow instruction: Use - for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So we need to turn lists into
- . For prose, use
.
We need to decide which headings to include: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We have content for About the role, Responsibilities, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits. Requirements maybe same as Qualifications? Could combine but we need to follow instruction: include a section ONLY when posting has real, specific content for it. We can decide to have Qualifications and Skills separate. Requirements maybe not needed if we have Qualifications. But we could treat Qualifications as Requirements. However we have both Qualifications and Skills content; we can include both.
Let's draft:
