About the role
Lead moderately complex projects with medium to high corporate priority. Provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, setup of local project offices, project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, prioritization, and facilitation.
Responsibilities
- Maintain control of schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations/satisfaction at all times.
- Present to management and/or customers on project updates, project cycle, and encouraged results.
- Manage vendor relationships throughout the installation.
- Ensure projects are closed on time and in scope.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree or equivalent work experience of at least five years.
- Five years Project Management experience in the security industry (preferred) or new construction experience.
- Available for daily and some overnight travel, 25%+ (pending on open projects).
Qualifications
- Preferred certifications such as CSPM (Certified Security Project Manager) or PMI PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional).
Skills
- Understanding of Project Management Institute's (PMI) methodology and key knowledge areas.
- Communication/Coordination - responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff, customer, and Johnson Controls management.
- Fiscal - responsible for tracking projects expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules of plans as required.
- Quality - maintain project quality; conducting inspections of worksite, ensuring workmanship meets Johnson Controls installation required quality standards and expectations.
- Customer Service - provide adaptable, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel and ensure timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues.

Pay
Hiring Salary Range: $85,200 - $117,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
