Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work orders, and technical documents
- Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, coworkers, vendors, and AHJs
- Complete inspections, reports, and technician documentation accurately and on time
- Utilize laptops, mobile devices, and software platforms including Honeywell CLSS
- Maintain inventory, stock transfers, and organization of company vehicle and equipment
- Safely operate hand tools, ladders, and testing equipment
- Participate in ongoing safety meetings and technical training
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and applicable codes
- Support a positive team environment and uphold Vulcan Fire’s professional standards
Qualifications
- NICET II Certification or higher
- Denver Fire Alarm Installer License
- Strong fire alarm service and troubleshooting experience
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and mobile technology
Preferred
- Backflow Certification
- Additional fire/life safety industry certifications or licenses
- Experience with Honeywell systems and CLSS software
