Fire Alarm Technician

About the role

Full-time (40 hrs/week) position involving the repair and testing of fire alarm systems. The candidate must have a good positive attitude, be self-motivated, accurate, detail-oriented, organized, and trustworthy.

Employee must be willing to travel to jobsites which can range from 30 to 120 miles from your home. A typical work shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm M-F. At times, applicant will be required to work evenings/weekends with increased pay.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and program fire alarm panels for established customers on a scheduled basis
• Installation and repair of fire alarm systems

Requirements

• High School diploma
• Valid driver’s license
• 3+ years of experience in fire alarm systems
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Skills

• Experience with hand tools
• Ability to drive a pickup truck
• Ability to learn company procedures
• Ability to lift up to 80 lb objects at a time

Pay

Competitive base pay with increased pay for evenings/weekends.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.
