Fire Alarm/Security/Access DMP Specialist
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Aid installers and service technicians with initial setup and programming of all newly installed systems and additions to existing systems.
- Provide technical support to customers for operation and connectivity to alarm systems.
- Help customers install and navigate phone-based apps to allow connectivity to alarm systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Assist other team members with DMP questions about programming and operation of DMP products and services.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education/Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience in the fire alarm/security alarm/access control/CCTV industry as a technician.
- Extensive experience with entire DMP product line.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- NICET Level I or above preferred.
- Must be able to keep current on new technology with minimum assistance.
Other Duties
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various environments.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Exposure to varying conditions including heights, confined spaces, and active job sites.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
- Work performed in commercial, industrial, and construction environments.
Pay and Benefits
Excellent pay
Pay range: $30 to $40 DOE with DMP product line.
