Safety, Emergency Response, and Physical Security
- Safety & Compliance: Champion a culture of "Zero Workplace Injuries" by conducting rigorous hazard identifications and ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA, Fire Safety, and facility codes.
- Physical Security: Execute randomized interior and exterior patrols and maintain a visible deterrent presence for all company assets, employees, and visitors.
- Active Monitoring: Proactively monitor multi-site security cameras, access control (Avigilon ACC/ACM), and other loss prevention tools to quickly identify threats and ensure protocol adherence.
- Emergency Response: Serve as the primary 24/7 after-hours lead for facility emergencies, utility failures, and vendor management, including initiating facility lockdowns when necessary.
Administrative Management and Investigative Auditing
- Critical Administrative Support: Take ownership of key administrative and operational tasks, including checking emails, managing communication, delegating tasks, and handling scheduling to ensure seamless workflow.
- Investigative Auditing: Conduct nightly deep dives into NetSuite/ERP and video archives to reconcile inventory discrepancies, shipping errors, and initiate "package recalls" when necessary.
- Loss Prevention: Function as the dedicated internal investigator, compiling objective data (security footage, transactional data) to resolve operational mysteries, customer claims, and internal loss incidents.
- Labor Accountability: Protect company payroll through systematic audits of timecards and access logs; ensure precise tracking of hours and labor compliance.
Qualifications
- Experience & Focus: Minimum 5-7 years in high-detail security, corporate safety, military, or law enforcement. Preference for candidates with an emergency management background or safety certification.
- Required Computer and Administrative Skills: Must be highly proficient in computer skills, including MS Office/G Suite, with a strong ability to manage and delegate tasks, handle communication, and proactively manage schedules and administrative duties.
- Technical Acuity: Proficient in MS Office/G Suite, with the ability to quickly learn and navigate ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and security technology (e.g., Avigilon).
- Professional Attitude: A highly capable, respectful, and self-motivated professional who excels working independently in a graveyard shift environment. You must be a team player who demonstrates initiative, takes ownership, and is comfortable making decisions to address complex security scenarios.
- Mindset: Possesses an exceptional investigative mindset, high attention to detail, and a proven ability to operate with a "trust but verify" approach.
- Compliance Background: Strong background in OSHA compliance, corporate safety, and risk management.
- Licensing/Physical: Valid Utah Driver’s License required; Valid Utah Security License preferred. Ability to pass a detailed background check and stand/patrol for extended periods.
