Fire Alarm, Security & Access Control Technician (Oregon LEA required)

About the role

The Fire Alarm, Security & Access Control Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems, security systems, and access control systems in various locations across Oregon. This position requires a current Oregon Local Electrical Contractor (LEA) license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair fire alarm systems, security systems, and access control systems
• Respond to emergency calls and perform maintenance tasks as needed
• Ensure all systems are functioning properly and comply with local and national codes
• Document work performed and maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities
• Communicate effectively with clients and other technicians to resolve issues and provide support

Requirements

• Current Oregon Local Electrical Contractor (LEA) license
• Experience with fire alarm, security, and access control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in electrical or related field preferred
