About the role
Fire Alarm Inspectors conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on fire alarm systems.
Responsibilities
- Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule
- Test and inspect various manufacturers' systems
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- 2 or more years of experience within the Commercial Fire Protection industry
- Completion of FASA/BASA certification
- Experience and/or certification working with some of the following systems: Edwards EST, Silent Knight, Simplex, Notifier, and Fire Lite
- Knowledge of building and fire codes for inspection purposes
- Ability to lift equipment and climb ladders and scaffolding
Skills
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
