About the role
Responsible for inspecting fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and comply with local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with local regulations.
- Document findings and provide recommendations for system improvements.
- Work closely with building management and contractors to address issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection systems inspection.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72 and other relevant codes and standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
Skills
- Proficiency in using fire alarm systems diagnostic tools.
- Experience with building automation systems.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with fire alarm systems.

Pay
$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
