Fire Alarm Inspector

About the role

Responsible for inspecting fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly and comply with local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fire alarm systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with local regulations.
• Document findings and provide recommendations for system improvements.
• Work closely with building management and contractors to address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspections are conducted in accordance with industry standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in fire protection systems inspection.
• Knowledge of NFPA 72 and other relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Skills

• Proficiency in using fire alarm systems diagnostic tools.
• Experience with building automation systems.
• Good understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration with fire alarm systems.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
