About the role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Inspection/Service Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our fire suppression systems within commercial kitchens. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Installation and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and components, including electrical wiring and equipment.
  • Service, test, inspection, programming, and installation of low-voltage fire alarm systems.
  • Acquire and maintain all required local licensure.
  • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming, and repair of fire alarm systems.
  • Travel within the state of TN to job sites as necessary (company vehicle provided).

Requirements

  • Experience in the fire alarm industry, including installation or inspection.
  • Special hazards, service, and troubleshooting experience preferred.
  • A current and valid driver’s license in accordance with company policy.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all applicable NFPA codes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; customer-oriented.
  • Ability to carry and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
