Finishing Operator Trainee

Description

This role operates finishing equipment to produce high-quality products while meeting safety, productivity, and customer requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply information from instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to food packaging safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Operate assigned finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform machine setup, make-ready activities, and routine preventive maintenance.
• Conduct quality inspections on raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support food packaging safety, quality, continuous improvement, training, and corrective action initiatives.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Communicate safety or quality concerns to management.
• Assist with additional operational duties as assigned.
