About the role

Bolder Industries is a global leader in traceable, mass-balanced circular solutions for the rubber, plastics, and petrochemical industries. We convert end-of-life tires into high-performance materials (ISCC PLUS certified BolderBlack® and BolderOil™) that cut emissions and resource use by up to 85% compared to traditional methods. This is an in-facility, full-time production role in Terre Haute, Indiana, reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor plant operations through control-room software and communicate necessary actions to shift team members.
  • Track and log regular activities and operational systems data.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform basic repairs, and/or engage the maintenance team.
  • Perform regular product-quality checks and lab tests, record data, and report deviations to shift supervisor or leadership.
  • Consult with team members and make ongoing adjustments to systems to ensure production and quality goals are met.
  • Operate a forklift daily.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by Management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks for self and team and follow health and safety procedures.
  • High energy level, team-player attitude, and excellent work ethic; ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to develop and enhance relationships with co-workers and other plant personnel.
  • Flexibility to change directions quickly due to ever-changing customer needs.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic computer skills with Google systems experience.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

Work Conditions

The manufacturing plant environment may be hot, noisy, and contain carbon black and oil. Product streams include carbon black, liquid hydrocarbon oil, and hydrocarbon vapor. Process equipment is installed indoors and outdoors at different levels, accessed via stairways and/or ladders. Required PPE includes safety glasses with side shields, safety shoes, hearing protection, and at times a dust respirator.

Schedule

Full-time, 12-hour day shift (7 am–7 pm).
