Responsibilities
- Reads job specifications and completes tasks as outlined
- Inspects products for quality integrity and packages them
- Affixes finishing, packaging, and shipping specifications to job jackets
- Assists in cutting, collating, wrapping, and packaging converting jobs
- Performs preventative maintenance on machines if assigned
- Completes paperwork for each job and packages finished goods for shipment
- Maintains work areas and keeps them clear and organized
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- One to three months related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- One year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in printing or packaging industry
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read and interpret ruler, scales, and other measurement devices
- Regularly required to stand and frequently walk
- Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds with or without mechanical assistance
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Pay
Pay Range: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
