Finishing Load/Unload- 2nd Shift

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Finishing Load/Unload associate for the 2nd shift.

About the role

The hourly rate is $20.21/hour plus a $1.20/hour shift differential. Core hours are 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Assist paint line performance by hanging/removing parts and material from load bars and recording pieces, hours, and load-bar information on a computer.
• Carry and lift parts to hang or unhang from the painting production line.
• Perform visual inspections of material before and after painting.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks such as masking, wrapping, and touch-up painting.
• Maintain components and supplies to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform 5S and continuous improvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates currently residing in the immediate Sherman, TX area will be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with powder painting.
• Experience in a production environment.

Position Criteria

• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally to frequently (33–66%) and up to 75 lbs occasionally by stooping, reaching, and bending.
• Ability to read blueprints and use simple measuring tools.
• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and maintain close attention to detail.
• Ability to work as part of a team responsible for assembling an entire product or component.
• Ability to reach, grasp, bend, and manipulate objects.
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including Saturdays and up to 12 hours in a shift, as needed by the business.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift (eight to twelve hours) and perform repetitious tasks.
