Responsibilities

• Directing, leveraging, and guiding the work of others, and mobilizing resources.
• Managing two or more direct reports.
• Monitoring and achievement of operational and/or financial results for area of responsibility.
• People management actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
• Setting goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results.
• Working on issues of general scope; problems faced may be difficult but typically not overly complex.
• Analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of various factors and a general understanding of principles in own discipline and potentially a basic knowledge of other disciplines.
• Supporting team with day‑to‑day activities.
• Applying general understanding of the business and coordinating with other areas to achieve department objectives.
• Ensuring policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholders.
• Developing and administering schedules, performance requirements.
• Assignments defined by activities and objectives; work reviewed for completeness and adequacy in meeting objectives.
• Decisions impact work processes and outcomes; errors in judgment or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and potentially expenditure of resources.
• Interacting frequently with internal personnel and may interact occasionally with external personnel.
• Participating and presenting at meetings with internal representatives; interaction typically concerns exchanging information and/or scheduling issues.
• Safe Quality Food Responsibilities: follow all Plant rules, Processes, Hygiene, and Allergens procedures related to production of Safe Quality Foods; report to person of authority to record any potentially unsafe conditions which may result in unsafe foods or noncompliance to SQF related procedures; participate in SQF Root Cause and Corrective Actions (from customer complaints, SQF audits, validation, and verification activities) as required; follow all procedures related to producing Safe Quality Foods (SQF); report any potentially unsafe SQF conditions or customer complaints to a person of authority to record and/or correct the situation.

Requirements

BA degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.

Pay

$72,700.00 - $96,900.00
