Finisher Paintline - 2nd Shift

About the role

Using sandpaper or power sanders, ensure all parts are smooth without defect before being painted. If parts need paint touch-ups, may also sand parts after the painting process to ensure a new coat of paint can adhere to the part.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday, 1:30 P.M.–12:00 A.M.

Responsibilities

• Sand parts by hand and power-sander to remove any defects on parts before being painted.
• Able to communicate with team members.
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities in the department.
• Use ERP system to assist in completed rework coordination.
• Works to meet LSI quality standards.

Requirements

• Use hand tools.
• Able to take direction.
• Functions in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for the duration of shift.

Pay

The target hourly range is $18.50–$20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.
