Finisher - 1st Shift

About the role

As a Finisher, you will perform finishing processes such as blasting, powder coating, polishing, and occasional wet coat painting on metal parts. You will maintain equipment, handle materials safely, operate hand and power tools, and use a forklift to transport equipment between departments. Safety is a priority, and you will ensure safe operation of all equipment and materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing processes including blasting, powder coating, polishing, and wet coat painting
• Maintain and clean equipment, including basic preventative maintenance
• Safely label, store, and dispose of materials and substances
• Operate hand and power tools as needed
• Operate and perform basic maintenance on a forklift to move equipment between departments
• Follow safety procedures and monitor equipment for safe operation

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret basic parts drawings
• Organized, detail-oriented, with strong time management and prioritization skills
• Complete forklift certification training within 30 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Finishing experience with wet and/or powder coat paint (preferred)

Pay

Starting pay is $20.25 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday - Thursday from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5:00 am to 9:00 am.
