Finished Product Manager

Job Summary
The Finished Product Manager oversees food safety training protocols and inventory operations within the production processes.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Completes profiles on meat and bone meal, poultry meal, feather meal, and yellow and brown grease production.
- Completes profiles on all grease purchases and shipments.
- Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
- Serves as plant liaison with Central Lab & Corporate Sales Office with respect to quality, while managing the lab.
- Submits results for all testing to appropriate management staff.
- Responsible for moving product from one location to another.
- Operates heavy equipment to load materials.
- Maintains housekeeping for safe and neat work area.
- Knowledgeable of plant products and specifications.
- Responsible for Loadout Operations.
- Maintains and reports weekly product inventories.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in reviewing & comprehending qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
- Comprehension and understanding of product flow in an industrial production environment preferred.
- Prior quality assurance experience preferred.

- Work well with others in a team, management, and regulatory environment.
- Highly organized and safety conscious.
- Superior time management skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
- Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk, stand, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, and crouch.
- Frequently must push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 80 lbs.
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms.
Work Environment
Job functions will be carried out in a plant environment which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
