Finish Technician

About the role

Maynard Inc. is seeking a Finish Technician to join our team in Fayetteville, AR. Since 1982, we have been a trusted leader in high-precision CNC machining and advanced fabrication, delivering critical components, assemblies, and kits for aerospace, space, defense, and commercial customers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and deburr machined parts to meet internal and customer quality specifications
• Use hand tools, grinders, deburring wheels, sanders, and files to finish components
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure accuracy and conformance
• Visually inspect parts for surface defects, sharp edges, and irregularities
• Follow detailed instructions to complete work per established procedures
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces, perform minor maintenance on tools
• Collaborate with machine operators, inspectors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow
• Accurately document work performed and report any discrepancies or issues

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and process specifications
• Familiarity with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Strong work ethic, self-initiative, and a desire to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team-oriented environment
• Willingness to learn new tools, equipment, and techniques
