Finish Specialist - RealCraft

Key Responsibilities

• Receive completed door, mantel, or countertop from the production team.
• Address any small defects by re-sanding, color matching, or repairing.
• Determine which finish to put on, referring to the sales order.
• Apply finishes by hand - no paint booths - to doors and jamb kits as specified on the paperwork.
• Conduct a final inspection prior to shipment.
• Pad and wrap the doors, preparing them for safe shipping.
• Maintain storage and organization of finish products.
• Perform related tasks as needed, such as hanging doors, attaching hardware, installing silicone sweeps, and assisting with loading doors into crates.

What We Offer

• Pay & Schedule: $20 - $22/hour depending on experience. Monday through Friday, consistent hours.

• Time Off: 80 hours (10 days) PTO in your first year, increasing to 100, 120, and 160 hours as you grow with us. PTO starts accruing from day one and can be used after your 90-day introductory period. 8 paid company holidays plus extra paid time off during the Christmas season.
• Extra Perks: $150 work boot allowance every two years. $250 employee referral bonus for full-time hires. Bridge toll reimbursement (:50%) if you commute across the Narrows. Longevity awards and company apparel.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position at our shop in Gig Harbor, Washington. The work is physical — you’ll be on your feet, lifting up to 75 lbs, and doing the kinds of things woodworkers do. If that’s your day-to-day, you’ll feel right at home.
