About the role
The Production Finishing Specialist is primarily responsible for operating various machines and equipment to finish printed products so they can be delivered. This role includes finishing and completing projects, as well as staging and preparing completed jobs for delivery or shipment. We’re looking for highly-collaborative and dependable teammates who are driven to contribute to the success of a local business.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing projects.
- Operate finishing machine devices, such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing machines to facilitate the final assembly of finished products.
- Maintain records, such as daily production records, using specified forms.
- Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager of the center.
- Work under pressure and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
- Perform any other essential functions/duties needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in operating finishing equipment associated with the print, signage, or associated industries.
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic.
- Strong problem-solving and cooperative interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multitasking.
- Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table.
- Strong multitasking ability and effective communication skills (oral and written).
- Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload.

Pay
