Production Finishing Specialist
About the Role
The Production Finishing Specialist is responsible for the finishing and completion of projects in the center, including the staging/preparation of completed jobs for delivery or shipment to clients. As a Bindery Specialist at AlphaGraphics - US769, you'll operate various machines and equipment to finish printed products, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Read work orders to determine instructions and specifications for finishing projects.
- Operate finishing machine devices, such as cutters, folders, collators/stitchers, and other production finishing machines.
- Maintain records, including daily production records, using specified forms.
- Follow all quality control procedures as instructed by the owner or manager.
- Perform any other essential functions/duties needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment in the print, signage, or associated industries.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work over a waist-high table.
