Finish Painter

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate painting equipment to paint truck bodies or parts.
• Assist with continuous process improvement and lean initiatives by following process flow, remaining flexible to complete tasks as part of the team, maintaining a clean work environment and offering suggestions for improvements.

Skills/Qualifications

• Two year's education or equivalent knowledge in automotive painting.
• Ability to manually move product and material up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion, including but not limited to: lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending.
• Using overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to paint in a variety of positions including but no limited to: kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, turning and climbing; while working on concrete surfaces, ladders and inside dump bodies.
• Ability to determine and make painting equipment adjustments as needed, read complicated instructions, use measuring devices and perform basic computer data entry.
• Ability to learn operations of multiple machines/jigs.
• Ability to successfully complete a pulmonary exam and medical questionnaire to be evaluated by the company appointed PLHCP in order to wear a respirator.

Pay

Starting pay up to $25 per hour and a $2500 Retention Bonus!
