Wood Finishing- Painter

Responsibilities

• Sand, fill, and seal wood surfaces
• Use brushes, rollers, or sprayers to apply paints, stains, varnishes
• Inspect finished products for defects and make touch-ups
• Maintain equipment and work area in an orderly manner
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
• Perform other duties/projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma / GED
• Ability to use all related tools and equipment effectively and safely
• Ability to work cooperatively with members of other teams to meet goals
• Must be available to work overtime if required
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Demands

• Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materials
• Able to lift/move/pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout day
• Able to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settings
• Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipment
• Must be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move product
