Responsibilities

• Understand Beam grades and grade each Beam by visually inspecting all four sides.
• Use all hand tools and machinery, including tapes, calipers, and size gauges to ensure Beams are on size.
• Notify supervisor of any quality issues immediately.
• Follow all mixing instructions for putting beams.
• Alert at all times and works within the scope of safety.
• Utilize Lock-out/Tag-out procedures associated with your duties.
• Report any potential machinery defects immediately.
• Report or repair any potential safety risks immediately.
• Keep work area clean and orderly during down time.

Qualifications

• Understand fundamentals of Lam Beam Lay-ups, Grades, and wrapping.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisor.
• Work with and promote a teamwork environment.
• Work with limited supervision.
• Promote and support a strong safety culture.
• Able to stand, kneel, bend for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
